Earth Day 2020

Explore NYC Parks

Free

Chill on the netflixing and enjoy some sunshine! Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22nd!  Keep Social Distancing but get out if you can with your family member(s) you are sheltering with and, if they are still open to the public at that time, explore one of these parks:

Brooklyn Bridge Park: Enjoy a meditative nature walk in this 85-acre park on the Brooklyn side of the East River in New York City.

Socrates Sculpture Park: Located on five-acres of waterfront landscape in Long Island City, Queens – the park offers spectacular views and large-scale sculptures.

Central Park:  No other park like it in the world! New Yorkers love to run, exercise and chill in the acres of green in the middle of Manhattan.

Forest Park: A 538-acre park in the New York City borough of Queens, it’s the tenth-largest park in New York City and the third-largest in Queens.
